Cable routing

Our cable routing for test centers and laboratories
Where is our cable management used?
Our cable management (also called surface grating) is primarily used in areas such as test centers or laboratories. However, it can also be installed in office spaces.
The structure of the cable routing:
We have further developed a proven, long-term system that was widely used in the telecommunications sector in the past and is known as the "surface grid." This system originally consisted of components from Siemens. Since production of these components was discontinued, there was no alternative, so conventional cable trays were used. However, after intensive research, we completely overhauled the old surface grid system. We were thus able to replace all of the old components with new, more visually appealing and more load-bearing ones.
The special features of our cable routing:
Our cable routing is based on profiles, connectors, caps, and screws from renowned manufacturers. We use turnbuckles to install the cable routing at a specific height. This allows us to compensate for height differences of up to +/- 20 mm. The structure can be designed in increments of approximately 120 mm from level to level, allowing up to 3-4 levels to be installed on top of each other if necessary without losing much headroom.
What makes our cable guides special are the specially developed fiberglass-reinforced plastic rungs, which can be installed at variable spacing depending on requirements and load. These rungs are lightweight, space-saving, and extremely robust.
We also use equipotential bonding bars as a grounding solution. These bars are mounted on the wall at specified intervals and connected to the cable routing (surface grid) via grounding cables on grounding plates. Servers, air conditioning units, or control cabinets can be connected and grounded at any time using these grounding interfaces. Our equipotential bonding systems comply with the guidelines of DIN EN 50310.
Most of our components are standard parts that can be easily reordered and thus expanded as needed.

Why our cable guide (surface grid) instead of a cable tray?

The difference here lies in flexibility. Our surface grid enables more sophisticated and aesthetic cable routing from level to level and from left to right. It also serves as a frame or suspension for network distributors, 48V distributors, RF distributors, and much more. These can be easily attached to the surface grid. The cable routing grid is customizable and can also serve as a guide, for example, for the positioning of control cabinets or servers. Before starting a project, we always create a detailed 3D drawing of the cable routing, which serves as a perfect visualization and planning basis.

Our planning services!
If you are still lacking professional planning for the surface grating, we would be happy to help you.

2D planning:
We create customized 2D construction plans for each area or room. These plans include a detailed layout of the grid, bays, height, grounding points, suspension, angles, connectors, and other components. This information serves as the basis for further planning and implementation.

3D planning:
For smaller areas, we also offer 3D drawings. These drawings allow you to inspect the surface grating in detail before installation and get an idea of what it will look like after installation.
Pricing
There is a tailor-made solution for every project, which can be practical and visually sophisticated depending on your individual project requirements.
We offer cable guides in different price segments, depending on the following factors.
Our factors:

-
Variability: How flexible should the cable routing be?
-
Installation type: What type of installation is required (suspended ceiling, concrete ceiling, rail system, feet)?
-
Layers: Which layers are required (AC, DC, RF or LAN)?
-
Area: Is it a small or large area (partial or full area)?
-
Fire protection requirements: Are there special fire protection requirements?
-
Special solutions: Are special solutions required, e.g., for mounting air conditioning units?
-
Reserves: Should the area be able to be expanded if necessary?
-
Optics: What type of materials and system profiles are used?
The installation of the surface grid in conjunction with our mesh system offers the optimal solution for efficiently implementing your earthing concept.
